Xenomyiasis are a brand new Grind band with a streak of filthy Sludge in their sound, who hail from East Anglia. 'Earthrot' is their debut demo release and sports some impressive apocalyptic artwork. Opening with A raw sounding slice of brutality entitled 'Defiler', and then followed up by three incredibly quick tracks that are half distorted Boris Johnson speech audio samples, half furious brain melting Grindcore madness, Xenomyiasis lay out their stall as a politically aware and Tory hating troupe with a mixture of comedy and punishing reverb drenched riffs. To get a true understanding of the bands sound you'll need to listen to the final track, 'Earthrot', in which the bass heavy rumbling sound and ear bleeding vocal work combine with a cacophony of symbol heavy drumming and more down tuned fuzz laden guitar leads. Sporting slower passages to emphasise their Sludge pedigree, this is the bands strongest track and it sees out 6 and a half minutes of angry, noisy, dirty grind barbarity!
